All Elite Wrestling taped the August 26 edition of AEW Dynamite from the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland, with the final build towards AEW All In taking centre stage.
The show featured Will Ospreay delivering an emotional message ahead of Sunday, several Casino Gauntlet announcements, Continental Challenge Cup action and plenty of physical confrontations before AEW heads to Wembley Stadium.

Will Ospreay opened the show with an emotional promo about his journey back from neck surgery and his pursuit of the AEW World Championship. Ospreay reflected on his years wrestling across the British independent scene and said his goal had always been to prove that the UK is where the best wrestle.
Ospreay paid tribute to several names from British wrestling, including those who have passed away such as Mad Kurt, Ryan Smile and Lionheart.
Turning his attention to Kenny Omega, Ospreay said he has tremendous respect for him, but that respect disappeared when Omega mentioned his son. Ospreay promised to bring his best on Sunday, declaring: “You don’t want to fuck with a man looking after a boy.”
Ospreay finished by saying there is a debt that needs to be paid and that it is time to “bring it home.”
- AEW Continental Challenge Cup Semifinal: Jon Moxley defeated Claudio Castagnoli.
- Adam Copeland and The Young Bucks, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson, defeated Don Callis Family members Rocky Romero, Jake Doyle and Brian Cage.
- Christian Cage came out following the match and warned The Young Bucks that they would discover on Sunday why matches are named after them.
The Bucks responded: “Have they ever named a company after you?”
Things quickly turned physical. Christian delivered a low blow to Matt Jackson, while Adam Copeland speared Nick Jackson after Nick superkicked Christian.
- Mercedes Moné attacked Willow Nightingale backstage before Willow could make her entrance. Moné specifically targeted Nightingale's wrist during the assault.
- Don Callis announced that Mark Davis will compete in the Casino Gauntlet match.
- Andrade's music played, but he initially failed to appear. MJF then made his entrance and claimed he had paid people to attack Andrade.
MJF went on to boast that he could do everything Andrade could do. While standing near the guardrail, MJF said he had one question, only for Andrade to suddenly appear behind him and ask: “How you know?”
Andrade attacked MJF and sent him retreating.
- Chris Jericho was announced as another participant in the Casino Gauntlet.
- AEW Continental Challenge Cup: Nigel McGuinness defeated Kyle O'Reilly.
- More tension was shown within the Don Callis Family, this time involving Kyle Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada.
- Persephone and Divine Dominion, Lena Kross and Megan Bayne, defeated Maya World and Brawling Birds, Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor.
- AEW aired a video package focusing on Kevin Knight and Darby Allin.
- Swerve Strickland defeated Jack Perry.
