AEW Dynamite Results (08/22/2020)

The following are the results of the August 22, 2020 edition of AEW Dynamite:

1. FTR (w/Tully Blanchard) defeated Private Party

2. AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and upcoming challenger MJF cut promos on each other.

3. Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy, Dustin Rhodes & QT Marshall defeated Butcher, Blade, Rey Fenix & Pentagon Jr. After the match, Eddie Kingston came out and cut a promo, seemingly started a new faction with the heels.

4. Chris Jericho challenged Orange Cassidy to a Mimosa Mayhem Match, which Cassidy accepted. Jericho and The Inner Circle ended up attacking Cassidy and The Best Friends.

5. The Elite defeated The Dark Order

6. Darby Allin defeated Will Hobbs. After the match, Brian Cage and Ricky Starks attacked Darby.

7. Matt Hardy attacked Sammy Guevara with a chair

8. NWA Women's Champion Thunder Rosa appeared in a vignette with her NWA Women's Title belt. She intends to take Hikaru Shida's AEW Women's Championship and become a double champion.

9. Ivelisse Velez & Diamante defeated The Nightmare Sisters (w/ Natural Nightmares) to win the AEW Women's Tag Team Cup

10. Mr. Brodie Lee defeated Cody Rhodes (w/Arn Anderson) to become the new AEW TNT Champion
