During tonight’s live edition of WWE NXT, Candice LeRae became the new number-one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship by winning a Fatal 4 Way Match that opened the broadcast.

LeRae defeated Mia Yim, Bianca Belair, and Io Shirai to earn a future title match against current champion Shayna Baszler.

Following the match, LeRae was confronted by Baszler, Marina Shafir, and Jessamyn Duke before engaging in a staredown with Baszler.
