It's being reported that during last night's Impact Wrestling television tapings, Eddie Edwards was seriously injured during his match against Sami Callihan.

Apparently Edwards won the match and then they did an angle where Callihan savagely attacked him after the match. According to reports, Callihan put a chair over Eddie's head and then struck the chair with a baseball bat. Somehow the bat bounced off of the chair and ended up hitting Eddie on the top of his head, which resulted in a very bad laceration.

He was immediately taken to a hospital as soon as he got backstage.
