Nick Aldis Wins NWA World Title from Tim Storm at CZW Event

Former Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion, GFW Global Champion, and Ring Ka King World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis (formerly known as Brutus Magnus or just Magnus) has defeated Tim Storm for the legendary National Wrestling Alliance World Heavyweight Championship at Combat Zone Wrestling's Cage of Death event. This marks the first NWA World Heavyweight Title change under the new leadership of NWA President Billy Corgan.

The 52-year-old Tim Storm had been the champion since October of 2016 when he defeated Jax Dane in Sherman, Texas. Storm was the oldest person to ever win the historic championship, as he was 51 years old at the time.
