The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Joey Styles was recently released from WWE due to comments that he made during a recent Facebook Live Q&A session with Cathy Kelley.

According to the report, WWE felt that Styles's comments reflected that he didn't care about what higher-ups in the company thought, which is something that WWE frowns upon.

During the Facebook Live session, some of the comments from Styles included how the only reason Roman Reigns was being pushed was because "kids and their mothers like him." Furthermore, Styles also stated that he disliked the idea of WWE's new Universal Championship for Raw, as well as how the WWE.com team was "unappreciated by the company" and that he "may have said too many inside things" for WWE's liking. Styles also joked that some of his comments might end up getting him into trouble.

The interview with Styles has since been pulled from all of WWE's social media pages.
