WWE Hall of Famer Andre the Giant will be the subject of a new HBO documentary, according to Vanity Fair.

The project will be led by Bill Simmons who recently left ESPN for HBO. Simmons has also enlisted the support of former ESPN 30 For 30 director Jonathan Hock.

Andre the Giant, who stood at 7-foot-4, 500 pounds and was famed for his legendary rivalry with Hulk Hogan during the course of his tenure with WWE between 1973 and 1991.

Andre passed away at the age of 46 on January 27, 1993.
