The CM Punk "crowd incident" has taken another twist this evening with CBS 13's Laura Cole reporting that Charles Schmidt, the WWE fan who was struck by Punk on Raw is now considering hiring an attorney for a possible lawsuit against the WWE Champion despite telling the Sheiff's department that he was not pressing any charges. Below are Cole's tweets:

"So the fan Charles Schmidt who got hit by @CMPunk told the sheriff's department last night that he didn't want to press any charges. #CBS13" 

"Today Schmidt told #CBS13 he is considering hiring an attorney for a possible lawsuit."

WWE issued the following statement regarding the incident on Tuesday: "WWE regrets that proper security measures were not in place, and CM Punk apologizes for reacting in the heat of the moment." - Read full statement here.
