WWE could be preparing to bring together two men who share "The Miz" nickname on an upcoming episode of Raw.

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski has become known as "The Miz," a nickname that naturally connects him with longtime WWE star The Miz.

The pair recently crossed paths during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, where Pat McAfee had some fun with the situation. McAfee suggested that WWE's Miz could surrender the nickname and instead start calling himself "The Mike."

It now appears WWE may be interested in taking the crossover beyond the talk show.

According to WrestleVotes via Fightful, WWE has made inquiries about potentially having Misiorowski involved with the September 28 edition of Monday Night Raw, which is scheduled to take place in Milwaukee.

There is currently no confirmation regarding what WWE has planned for Misiorowski or whether an appearance has officially been agreed upon. However, the company has already made an interesting move that could be connected to the storyline.

WWE Files Trademark For "The Mike"
On August 7, WWE submitted a trademark application for "The Mike" with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The timing of the filing has fueled speculation that WWE could be considering using McAfee's suggestion as part of an angle involving The Miz and Misiorowski.

The Miz has been absent from WWE television as an in-ring competitor for several months. His most recent televised match came on the May 29 edition of SmackDown in Barcelona, Spain, where he was defeated by Axiom.

He remained active away from television afterward, wrestling Danhausen multiple times during WWE's European live event tour in June before competing at several additional house shows in July.

With Raw heading to Milwaukee in late September, WWE may now have the perfect location to bring baseball's "Miz" into the wrestling world.
