Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have yet to reveal their next destination after WWE, but their latest booking is only going to add more fuel to the AEW speculation.

Chris Jericho announced on Instagram that the former New Day stars, now advertised as Kofi and Austin Creed, will make their debut aboard the next Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea.

The cruise runs from Miami to the Bahamas from November 7 through November 11, with Jericho welcoming the pair in familiar fashion.

“Hello Cruisers! It’s a brand new day and we are beyond excited to announce that Kofi and Austin Creed are making their Jericho Cruise debut!”

Despite The New Day name no longer being used, the announcement certainly played into everything fans have come to associate with the duo.

“Get ready for Unicorns, Trombones, Gaming, Pancakes and so much more, as two of the most entertaining personalities in the biz, bring the party!!!!”

The timing is particularly interesting.

Kofi and Creed are now clear of their 90-day WWE non-compete restrictions and have already started teasing their next chapter, including the release of an animated video following their departure.

AEW has naturally emerged as one of the most discussed potential landing spots, and appearing on Jericho’s cruise gives fans another connection to Tony Khan’s promotion to speculate about.

Of course, the booking does not confirm an AEW deal. Jericho’s cruise is not exclusively an AEW event and has featured talent from numerous promotions over the years.

However, it arrives alongside reports suggesting the pair could have something very different planned should AEW become their next home.

Self Made Pro recently claimed he had been given the impression Kofi and Creed have discussed reinventing themselves with a new presentation.

“But long term, I’ve been given the implication and impression that they want to try something that they haven’t been able to and basically reinvent themselves. I know that they have a number of ideas of things that they wanted to try and presentations that they wanted to do that they never got to. I’ve been given the impression that they have a new presentation that they want to test in AEW. I also was given the impression that there’s some guys that they already have on their list of people that they want to work with.”

For now, their post-WWE destination remains officially unknown.
