Natalya has revealed that she and the Bella Twins remain determined to see Total Divas make a comeback, with the trio continuing to pitch the idea to WWE.

During an appearance on the Battleground Podcast, Natalya explained that bringing back the popular reality series remains something she, Nikki Bella and Brie Bella are passionate about. According to the WWE veteran, their efforts have never really stopped.

“The Bella Twins and myself have never ever stopped fighting for Total Divas to come back. We want it back more than anything, and we are not taking our foot off the gas on it, so to speak.”

Natalya believes the legacy of the series can still be felt within WWE today, particularly among a younger generation of female talent who watched the show before entering the wrestling business.

“So many women superstars in WWE that are coming in, like Blake Monroe, Izzi Dame, Bianca Belair, Lash Legend, they’re all saying we want to get into WWE because we love that show.”

She continued:

“So, you see so many women inspired by Total Divas and what we did on that show. I was lucky enough and fortunate enough to be on that show for all nine seasons. I was the only cast member who was never not on the show, because I was full of a lot of drama too. It’s a show that is extremely special to me, and like I said, The Bellas and I are not taking our foot off the gas as we want the show to happen.”

Despite their enthusiasm, Natalya made it clear that fans should not take her comments as confirmation that a revival has been approved.

Instead, she pointed to WWE President Nick Khan as someone who has been prepared to hear their ideas and discuss what a new version of the series could potentially offer.

“I feel that powers that be, especially, you know, Nick Khan, because he’s so supportive of us and he’s so collaborative with us. He listens to us. It’s great having a boss that’s just like, okay, you guys wanna do something? How is it gonna be good? What are we gonna do?”

Natalya added that while there is currently nothing official to announce, she remains encouraged by Khan's willingness to listen.

“Again, I’m not saying we’re there yet, but Nick is somebody, like I said, we got ideas, he’s willing to listen. We’re waiting for the opportunity. We keep putting it out into the universe.”

Total Divas originally premiered on E! in 2013 and eventually ran for nine seasons before concluding in December 2019. The series mixed WWE careers with the personal lives of its cast and featured names including Natalya, Nikki and Brie Bella, Naomi, Eva Marie, Cameron and JoJo.

Natalya holds the distinction of appearing throughout all nine seasons of the show.

The possibility of a revival is something she has discussed several times. Earlier this year, Natalya said she is still frequently approached about Total Divas and would be interested in helping spearhead a new version, both in front of the cameras and behind the scenes.

The Bella Twins have also publicly supported the idea. Nikki Bella previously indicated that they would be ready to return if WWE decided to revive the series, while also expressing interest in another run of Total Bellas.

There could also be a very different media landscape awaiting a potential reboot. WWE's programming has expanded its reach through Netflix, while the company's WWE: Unreal series has generated considerable discussion by taking viewers behind the curtain.

Nikki Bella has previously argued that the two concepts would not necessarily compete with each other. While Unreal is presented more as a documentary series, she views Total Divas as a docu-soap focused as much on personalities and relationships as professional wrestling.

A number of women associated with the original series also remain connected to WWE, including Natalya, the Bellas, Paige, Naomi, Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax.

Natalya herself has undergone a significant reinvention over the past year through her tougher Nattie Neidhart persona. After developing the character outside WWE, including appearances for Game Changer Wrestling, she eventually brought elements of it back to WWE television.

She has also spoken about ambitions beyond simply performing, including an interest in potentially launching a Bloodsport-inspired wrestling concept of her own.
