La Catalina could soon be stepping through the doors of WWE, with the AAA star reportedly heading to the Performance Center this week.

According to PWInsider, the former CMLL talent is expected to visit WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando in the coming days. The reason for her visit has not been revealed, and there is currently no confirmation that she will appear on NXT television.

Still, the timing is certain to get fans talking.

La Catalina has enjoyed a busy run since leaving CMLL earlier this year. Rather than taking time away, she quickly established herself in AAA and has worked alongside Lady Shani, Pimpinela Escarlata, Bayley, Lola Vice and Adelicious.

She has also regularly crossed paths with Las Tóxicas, becoming increasingly involved in AAA programming across television tapings and live events.

Her reported WWE visit now adds another interesting wrinkle.

With WWE and AAA continuing to strengthen their working relationship, talent moving between the two promotions has become increasingly common. A trip to the Performance Center does not guarantee an NXT appearance, but La Catalina's presence there will naturally fuel speculation about what could be next.
