Brock Lesnar may have announced his retirement this week, but not everyone inside WWE is convinced his in ring career has truly come to an end.

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, there is a belief among several high ranking WWE officials that Lesnar could still be part of WrestleMania 43 weekend in Saudi Arabia next year. While his return to the ring remains a possibility, one source reportedly suggested that if he does not wrestle, he could instead be honoured as the headline inductee into the 2027 WWE Hall of Fame class.

The source reportedly stated, "Can't envision Lesnar walking away before one final payday in Saudi Arabia."

Lesnar officially announced his retirement during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show earlier this week. The former WWE Champion revealed that his SummerSlam clash with Oba Femi marked the final match of his legendary career, bringing an end to decades at the top of professional wrestling.

Despite that announcement, history has left many fans and those within WWE cautious about taking the retirement at face value. Lesnar has teased stepping away from wrestling on multiple occasions before eventually making another return.

Following his defeat to Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42 earlier this year, Lesnar appeared to close the chapter on his career, only to make a surprise comeback just one month later. A similar situation unfolded after his loss to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023, when he famously left his gloves in the ring, sparking widespread retirement speculation. That exit also proved temporary, as Lesnar returned to WWE at SummerSlam 2025.

For now, Lesnar insists his career is over, but with WrestleMania 43 set for Saudi Arabia and his track record of dramatic retirements, many inside WWE reportedly believe the door remains open for one final appearance.
