It was reported a little while back that WWE Hall of Famer Sting would play a major role at the WWE Super ShowDown 2020 pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia on February 27.

It now appears that will not be the case as PWInsider is now reporting that the push there was for Sting to be used has died down.

PWInsider: 

"As noted several weeks ago in The Elite section of PWInsider, there had been a push for Sting to be used at the 2/27 event, but as of last night, we are told those talks have died down."
