As seen at last night's WWE Royal Rumble event, Kevin Owens retained the WWE Universal Championship. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the Universal Championship will stop being defended at house shows from Fastlane onwards, drawing comparisons to when The Rock won the title in 2013. 

The main event for Fastline will likely be Kevin Owens vs. Goldberg for the Universal Championship, with a Goldberg victory. This heavily implies that Goldberg will go onto WrestleMania to face Brock Lesnar with the title on the line.
