The host city for WWE WrestleMania 34 has officially been confirmed as New Orleans by NOLA.com. The event will return to The Mercedes-Benz Superdome, which hosted WrestleMania 30, and will against play host on April 8, 2018.
“New Orleans and the local organizing committee did an exceptional job of hosting the WWE Universe in 2014, and that was a major factor in our decision making process in 2018,” WWE’s executive vice president of special events John Saboor stated to NOLA.com.
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and other talent are expected to appear at a press conference on Tuesday morning along with city and state officials to make the official accountment.
There is speculation that WWE may host WrestleMania is five key cities going forward and returning to New Orleans so soon might be an indication of that being put into motion.
