CM Punk took part in an interview with Ron Kruck of Inside MMA to promote his fight with Mickey Gall at UFC 203 on September 10th. During the interview Punk was asked if he has received any support from his former boss Vince McMahon, to which he responded:

“No, he’s currently bankrolling a lawsuit against me, so I don’t think he’s going to be reaching out.” Punk then did an impression of McMahon, “Hey pal, how are you doing? I’m suing ya, LOL.”

To clarify WWE is not suing Punk but their physician Dr. Chris Amman is. Punk believes that McMahon is funding Amman's legal costs. Amman’s lawsuit against Punk and Colt Cabana will be heard at trial on May 21st, 2018.
