As previously reported, WWE Superstar Seth Rollins was nearly attacked by a fan during Monday night's edition of Raw while he was in the ring cutting a promo for his SummerSlam match against Finn Balor. The incident was not shown on television, and the fan was quickly apprehended by arena security.

In an update, multiple sources are reporting that the fan in question has been identified as 23-year-old Edward Ferrero, who was officially arrested and charged with criminal trespassing and assault by the Corpus Christi, Texas Police Department.

The assault charge was filed after Ferrero was reported to have bitten one of the security guards who apprehended him. As of the initial reports, the security guard who was bitten did not have to receive any kind of medical attention.
