The Muppets were scheduled for a guest appearance at Sunday's SummerSlam, but due to a scheduling conflict WWE were forced to nix the angle.

It's unknown what the storyline The Muppets would have been a part of. It's quite possible they would  have had their own angle. WWE has had a strong relationship with the producers of The Muppets for a number of years.
