Justin Gabriel Revels John Cena Made A Bad Decision 

Former WWE star Justin Gabriel recently took part in a Reddit AMA in which he revealed John Cena changing the finish of his 2010 SummerSlam match had a negative effect on Nexus:

“Yea, it did, and we tried to fight that – Edge, Jericho, guys like that fought for us and knew where the storyline was supposed to go. But unfortunately, one guy had a lot of power and made the change. He admitted he was wrong after that and there’s nothing more we could do about it.”

David Otunga Lands Movie Role

WWE Raw Pre-show host David Otunga has been cast in a new drama movie. 

Live to Tell is the name of the movie and Otunga is cast as a police captain who responds to a school shooting. Otunga will be filming around his WWE schedule and filming will begin in August. The description of the movie on IMDB reads: “A school teacher is stuck in the midst of a school shooting. It is also a bullying awareness film.”

Otunga will still be able to fulfill his WWE commitments while he films.

A New Match For ROH Best In The World

ROH revealed the following in a press release:

Ring of Honor’s biggest event of the summer is just weeks away when BEST IN THE WORLD 2016 comes to North Carolina! On Friday, June 24th, the stars of Ring of Honor head to the Charlotte area. And you can watch it LIVE on pay-per-view! Charlotte is an historic, legendary hotbed for professional wrestling, and the fans in the area are some of our most supportive and enthusiastic on the entire planet. But whether or not you can be there live in Concord, you can still catch the whole night of action on pay-per-view!

We already know that BEST IN THE WORLD will be headlined by the biggest rematch in ROH history when World Champion JAY LETHAL defends his title against his greatest rival, JAY BRISCOE. But as massive as this World Championship battle will be, we can now confirm that ALL the ROH Championships will be on the line. Dalton Castle takes on Bobby Fish for the ROH World Television Championship and the Motor City Machine Guns will challenge current ROH World Tag Team Champions, The Addiction!

MARK BRISCOE VS. RODERICK STRONG

“Mr. ROH” has accomplished just about every possible accolade in Ring of Honor. Former World Champion, Television Champion, Tag Team Champion, Survival of the Fittest winner: he’s done it all! Roderick Strong continues to elevate his game, with his explosive athleticism on display night after night. But despite his impressive physical condition, Strong has been dealt some frustrating setbacks in 2016.

Shockingly, he lost his ROH World Television Championship to Tomohiro Ishii at HONOR RISING in Tokyo last February. He was unable to regain his title and had to watch longtime rival Bobby Fish eventually snag the gold. Seeing himself left out of the championship picture at BEST IN THE WORLD, Strong headed into this past weekend’s events determined to get a win. He’d cryptically claimed that “the clock is ticking” on the ROAD TO BEST IN THE WORLD!

In Collinsville and Indianapolis, Roderick Strong competed in 2 wild multi-man contests. In the end, he didn’t figure into the decision of either match, an outcome the left Strong visibly frustrated. But Sunday night in Columbus, Roderick Strong scored a massive victory when he defeated the number one contender to the ROH World Championship, Jay Briscoe! These two ROH legends had not had a singles in encounter in five years and, although he was injured, most looked at the momentum Briscoe had weeks from BEST IN THE WORLD and assumed he would claim another victory. Flush from that major win, Strong had a hostile encounter with Mark Briscoe backstage in Columbus! Goading the record-holding former ROH World Tag Team Champion by pointing out that he’d already beaten the “more important” brother, Strong antagonized Briscoe with deeply personal insults. But neither of Dem Boys are one to back down from a fight! Mark Briscoe challenged Roderick Strong to put up or shut up…and Strong has accepted!
