There has been a lot of speculation regarding Kurt Angle's future and more recently, the speculation that a WWE return is on the cards. PWInsider on Saturday had claimed that Kurt Angle had declined a WWE full time deal due to his body not being able to handle a full time schedule.

However, Dave Meltzer was speaking on his Wrestling Observer Radio and made another claim that the offer to Kurt Angle is "bogus" and did not happen "unless it was WWE's way to politely decline a Kurt Angle return." He did also mention that the only possible way that he sees Angle returning to the company is via some form of farewell tour.

PWInsider did mention the prospect of a "limited" deal for Angle which would likely be similar to Chris Jericho or Rob Van Dam but it has previously been noted that Vince McMahon is not a fan of Kurt Angle returning to the company at all. Angle has said that he would not be doing anything wrestling wise until at least January.
