Well, this could get an interesting reaction from fans.

Bryan Alvarez, Dave Meltzer who are both part of Wrestling Observer as well as Mike Johnson over at PWInsider have all reported that the future of CM Punk could well be split.

CM Punk's decision to leave has said to have been focused with the creative direction they had going for him in regards to facing Kane at Elimination Chamber and then Triple H at Wrestlemania. 

The return of CM Punk is said to be less than clear. CM Punk certainly holds the chips in terms of if he wants to come back or not but there is said to be a split opinion on whether he should come back. Vince McMahon is reportedly all for Punk's return and wants to try and sort the situation out. Triple H is reportedly less keen. It's said he has "mixed" feelings in bringing Punk back due to the "disrespectful exit" he took with the WWE. 

Ultimately, Vince McMahon will be the one handling the situation on such a top level superstar however and Triple H will obviously respect Vince's decision. The question is, will there be a CM Punk return this side of Wrestlemania?
