The finish to the Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton match on last night's Raw was not planned according to sources at PWInsider.com. The company reportedly stopped the match after Bryan suffered a stinger diving to the outside. The scripted finish was for Bryan to go over Orton cleanly to help set up a planned main even this summer; Bryan vs. John Cena for the WWE Championship on a future pay-per-view event.
Bryan returned to the backstage and was reported to be “irate” according to a source and complained to Triple H that the match should not have been stopped. Triple H and Bryan got into a loud argument at the gorilla position with many shocked at his sudden turn in nature, as he is generally considered soft spoken and one of the most powerful men in the company.
Bryan told Triple H that he as worked the world over and knows when he is hurt and can't go on thus his match should not have been stopped. Triple H argued that the company was protecting Bryan as they don't want anybody working hurt, especially Bryan as they have huge plans for him this summer.
The two eventually apologized to each other.
