WWE developmental talent Richie Steamboat, son of WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, is scheduled to undergo back surgery soon according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. 

Steamboat has been considered a future star for the full time WWE roster however this injury was said to be serious enough to where they didn't know if he would be able to continue with a wrestling career. Dr. Joseph Maroon out of Pittsburgh will be handling the surgery.
