WWE SmackDown Results (3/15/13)

Posted By: Elio Cannella reporting for WrestlingNewsSource.com on Mar 15, 2013

Welcome to Friday Night Smackdown and this week we come to you from Fort Wayne, Indiana and right out of the gate we kick things off with tag team action.

Sheamus & Randy Orton vs Team Rhodes Scholars

Damien Sandow calls for silence and says what happened last Monday on Raw was nothing short of a professional and managerial abomination. Not only was their surefire victory from the New Age Outlaws taken away from Team Rhodes  Scholars, not only was their post-match endeavour with the Bella Twins postponed, but they were put into a match they were neither physically or mentally prepared for against Sheamus and Randy Orton whom he refers to as two vulgarians. Sandow then goes to relate a story told to him but Rhodes says Sheamus and Orton don’t deserve the story and says it’s simple, they ruined Team Rhodes Scholars’ date and night so now it’s their turn to ruin Sheamus & Orton’s.

Rhodes starts things off against Sheamus and a side headlock takedown by Sheamus.Side headlock by Sheamus and Rhodes with an irish whip gets floored with a shoulderblock from Sheamus. Post Match: The Shield’s music hits. Orton and Sheamus are looking around but The Shield appear on the Titantron and tell Orton and Sheamus they don’t have to be afraid. Or do they? Just not tonight. The Shield tell Orton and Sheamus they should know that the ring they are standing in belongs to The Shield and if they still don’t believe that well they can ask The Big Show. Because on Monday night they dropped the Big Show and they served justice to the Big Show just like they’ve served justice to every major force in this industry and proceed to run down the list which include Ryback, Sheamus, Ortn, John Cena & The Rock. That brings up an interesting point. They’ve taken Cena and Rock multiple times and laid them out. Flattened them in the centre of the ring just to prove they can and yet those two criminals continue to take from The Shield. Because they are the main event at Wrestlemania and somehow the most dominant force in this company, The Shield, doesn’t even have a match at Wrestlemania and that is the greatest injustice they’ve ever heard of but that’s an injustice they’re going to serve themselves. They say no more games and challenge Orton, Sheamus and a partner of their choice. Any partner they want but to make sure they choose the right partner. Orton says he’s in and Sheamus says he’ll see The Shield at Wrestlemania. The Shield then say The Showcase Of The Immortals now and forever becomes The Showcase Of Justice and at Wrestlemania they will believe.

Sheamus then asks if Show’s looking for the third spot as his and Orton’s tag team partner and Show says he doesn’t trust either of them. But in lieu of recent events that’s exactly what he’s saying. They need a tag team partner that’s merciless, that’s brutal, that’s vicious. A tag team partner that can bulldoze anything that’s in front of him. They need a tag team partner that’s an ultimate destroyer. Orton says he couldn’t agree more. Show says they won’t regret this decision. Smart move. Sheamus says Show’s dead right and say he and Orton have selected Ryback to be their tag team partner. Ryback walks in and Show looks at him and walks off.
