Vince Mcmahon has been very vocal recently about ""expanding their online reach" to make sure WWE are on top of the next big trend. Following Tout and Twitter which are priorities due to WWE's investment in the social networks, he doesn't want to just focus on the two . WWE hired a new EVP of Digital Media last month named Perkins Miller, who is "aggressively shopping" for those new trends/deals. WWE are set to announce another digital partnership this month which is likely to be at some point next week.
WWE are also set to be entering into the NBC Sports Network, producing original programming for around 1 or 2 hours. NBC Sports know of WWE's audience and current partnership with NBC as well as Bonnie Hammer. NBC are looking for "strong leaders" to rebrand the network (formally VERSUS) and what will boost ratings for them while also reflecting their image of the network.Â
