Jericho was handed a 30 day suspension after he denigrated the Brazilian flag during a WWE Live event Thursday in São Paulo. The incident was said to have been blown up online but within WWE it was nothing more then upsetting.
WWE suspended him because he violated the local laws in Brazil and the incident could be used against the company in the future.
