Chris Jericho nearly landed himself in a cell as a result of his actions during his match with CM Punk at last night's WWE live event in Sao Paolo, Brazil.

At one point during the match, Jericho kicked a Brazilian flag.  The police in charge of security at the event became infuriated and it later became apparent that Jericho might be charged.  In the end, he was let go and allowed to move on to Ecuador with the rest of the company.

Jericho later tweeted "Just for the record I love Brazil and wish we could've spent more time there.  Beautiful country!"
