Column: Help Blake Blaze Campbell Petition the WWE!

Posted By: Blake Blaze Campbell on Mar 01, 2012

Be honest, the words 'Petition' and 'WWE' both in the same sentence is bound to raise some eyebrows right? Well that WNS Readers, is exactly what I plan on doing. And with enough of your help, I think we could actually make a difference. Now I'm not saying we petition to have a Superstar Pushed, make a face/heel turn or be fired/hired. Because lets face it, we will never be able to have a say in something as major as that. But for those of you who read my column last week about a potential new RAW intro theme, you'd know that I'm not happy with the WWE's choice for their RAW theme over the past two and a half years. And if I'm not mistaken, based on the reactions to my column I'd say that many of you aren't happy with the theme either. The Monday Night RAW theme should be something that gets you excited and energized for the entertainment that is about to take place. So I've officially taken it upon myself to try and get WWE fans together to try and make a change. I'm not naive, the petition probably won't change a thing. But if it does, how epic would that be? And how awesome would it be to watch Monday Night RAW and be able to say "That theme song is playing because I told the WWE to play it." Again for those who read my column, you know my choice was a new song by the rock band called, Thousand Foot Krutch. See that column here:

Thousand Foot Krutch has a very loyal fan base and constantly puts out music that is both energetic and inspiring. With their new song "Let the Sparks Fly", I feel a strong union could be built between the WWE and this band by naming the song it's new Monday Night RAW intro theme. A song with strong riffs and a constant build of excitement, energy and enthusiasm is precisely what the WWE needs for it's best show! I'll be tweeting the band later in the day to see if they'll retweet the link. If they do that, I expect thousands of tweets to come pouring in. You can help me get the band's attention by retweeting my tweet. Follow me on Twitter to do that at: @thebec1. Like I said, I don't really expect the WWE to listen and make the change. But what do we lose if they don't? Nothing. What do we gain if they do? An awesome feeling of accomplishment and freedom from Nickelback every Monday Night. To sign the petition go here:

It should be noted that I'm acting on my own behalf and not on behalf of WrestlingNewsSource.com. WNS has no intentions of trying to target the WWE in any capacity, they simply allow me the freedom to communicate with all of you and express my thoughts and opinions. It should also be noted that this isn't a malicious petition against the WWE, we aren't trying to attack them or Nickelback. It's something we're all collectively doing for fun and to do something we think could make the product more entertaining. It'd be pretty sweet if a change was made on Monday Night RAW because the readers of WrestlingNewsSource demanded it. Hope you guys will sign! Share with your friends if you're interested.
