Over the past week or so, there has been a developing battle going on between WWE Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long and the WWE Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Interim General Manager of Monday Night Raw, Mr. John Laurinaitis.
Expect to see this feud come to a head at WrestleMania 28 in a Winner-Takes-All bout between a babyface (good guy) team representing Long and a heel (bad guy) team representing Laurinaitis. Whoever has the winning team between Long and Laurinaitis will become the General Manager for both Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown.
No word yet on who might emerge victorious. It should be noted however that Teddy Long is the longest reigning G.M. in WWE history and has been a G.M. for both SmackDown and the now defunct Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) brands since 2004.
