There are some corrections to report regarding the TNA creative shake-up.
Wade Keller of PWTorch.com is reporting that Vince Russo’s exit from TNA is not 100% confirmed, however the belief is that he is off the creative team, and will not be retained by the promotion in any capacity. Keller goes on to speculate that Eric Bischoff is part of a group responsible for getting Russo removed.
Dave Lagana, however, is not taking over TNA creative, as WrestleZone initially reported. Lagana has personally downplayed taking over in any way for Russo. As of now, Bruce Prichard remains as head of the creative staff, a position he has held since earlier in the fall of 2011.
Lagana, however, has taken a hands-on role in assisting with pre-taped segments, and is present tonight at Against All Odds to assist, and remains with Ring Ka King, overseeing the entire production. Russo, however, is NOT at the PPV.
As of now, Prichard oversees creative and takes input from Bischoff, while writer Matt Conway remains on staff as a script writer. Russo, before his alleged dismissal, was working with Conway on scripts.
