There is a new WWE United States Champion on Monday Night Raw. "The 2-time, 2-time All American-American" Jack Swagger defeated "Long Island Iced Z" Zack Ryder for the prestigious Championship this past Monday night. Coincidentally, it was Dolph Ziggler, Swagger's current tag team partner, who Ryder defeated for the U.S. Title.

One would assume that WWE will probably keep the belt on Swagger for at least a month or two, as is common practice. But who knows, maybe Zack Ryder will defeat Swagger in the rematch.

But if Zack Ryder fails to regain the U.S. Championship, who would you like to see defeat Swagger to become the new U.S. Champion? Perhaps "The Funkasaurus" Brodus Clay? An established WWE veteran such as Chris Jericho or CM Punk? Perhaps an undercard talent such as Curt Hawkins or Tyler Reks? There are lots of possible contenders.
