Cody Rhodes defeated Randy Orton in a brutal Last Man Standing match at WWE Crown Jewel 2026, sealing the victory with Orton’s own punt kick.
The action quickly spilled outside, where Orton took control by repeatedly slamming Rhodes onto the announce desk. Their fight continued through the crowd and towards the stage, with Orton cutting short a comeback by powerbombing Cody through a table.
Rhodes fought back inside the ring, borrowing Orton’s draping DDT. However, Orton responded with a superplex and a draping DDT of his own. Cody escaped an RKO and landed a Cody Cutter, but his follow-up Dusty punches ended with Orton catching him with an RKO.
Another trip to the announce desk proved costly for Rhodes. After placing Orton on top, Cody attempted a splash, only for Orton to move and send him crashing through the desk.
Orton brought Cody back into the ring and lined up a punt kick. Rhodes avoided it and connected with another Cody Cutter before delivering Cross Rhodes, but Orton managed to beat the count.
Cody then attempted a Con-Chair-To using the steel steps, only for Orton to stop him with a low blow.
The closing moments saw Rhodes counter another RKO attempt and deliver several Cross Rhodes. Orton was left bleeding after his head struck the steps, but Cody was not finished. He stopped the referee’s count and delivered a punt kick, leaving Orton unable to answer the ten-count.
