Paige is reportedly in Orlando ahead of tonight’s special Wednesday edition of WWE NXT, fuelling speculation that the former champion could make an appearance.

PWInsider Elite reports that Paige has been brought into town for the November 4 broadcast at the WWE Performance Center. However, WWE has not announced her for the show, and there is no confirmation that she will appear on television.

One possible connection is Kelani Jordan’s scheduled match against a mystery opponent. Speculation has linked Paige to the NXT Women’s Championship picture, but nothing has been confirmed regarding her involvement in that match or any other segment.

NXT moves from Tuesday to Wednesday this week because of The CW’s coverage of the November 3 US midterm elections. The change puts the programme directly opposite AEW Dynamite, with WWE advertising several major names for the broadcast.

CM Punk is scheduled to challenge Grayson Waller for the NXT Championship, while John Cena and Cody Rhodes are also advertised to appear. Rhodes is set to present the Dusty Cup trophy to the winners of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

An appearance by Paige would bring her back to the brand where she became the inaugural NXT Women’s Champion. She later won the WWE Divas Championship on her main roster debut in 2014 and also competed outside WWE under the name Saraya.

For now, her reported presence in Orlando leaves fans with another reason to watch, but whether she will step in front of the cameras remains to be seen.
