Police Confirm Investigation Remains Open Amid Lawsuits Against Sky Daily And Son

Clearwater police have confirmed that an investigation linked to lawsuits against Hulk Hogan’s widow, Sky Daily, and her son, Hayden Hitt, remains open.

The statement challenges a claim in one lawsuit that police “quietly and quickly closed” the case because of Daily’s alleged standing within the Church of Scientology.

Two women, identified as Jane Doe and Jane B. Doe, filed separate lawsuits in Pinellas County, Florida, last week over allegations relating to a March 28 party at Daily’s Clearwater home. TMZ first reported the filings.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, both women were below the legal drinking age at the time, and Jane B. Doe was a minor.

Jane Doe alleges Hitt physically attacked her. She also claims Daily supplied alcohol, attempted to recruit her into Scientology and pressured her to forgive him. According to her lawsuit, Daily later removed her from the home where she had been staying after she contacted police.

Clearwater police said on Saturday that their investigation began in March and that the case had been referred to the Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney’s Office for possible prosecution.

“The case is not closed; media reports indicating that are inaccurate,” the department said.

The second woman, Jane B. Doe, alleges another partygoer, identified as John B. Doe, sexually assaulted her at the gathering. Her lawsuit claims Hitt offered her up for sex while she was incapacitated and guarded the door during the alleged assault.

Jane Doe is suing Hitt for battery, Daily over alleged criminal practices, and both for emotional distress.

Jane B. Doe is suing Daily and Hitt for negligence. Her lawsuit also names John B. Doe for sexual assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress, alongside his parents for allegedly failing to supervise him. Both women have requested jury trials.

Daily did not respond to requests for comment from TMZ or the Tampa Bay Times. The Times was unable to reach Hitt. None of the allegations has been proven in court.

A Church of Scientology spokesperson told the Times that Daily “holds no position in the Church” and said the organisation had no involvement in the alleged matters.

Daily married Hogan in September 2023. The wrestling legend died on July 24, 2025, aged 71.
