Several WWE stars have reportedly raised concerns about travelling to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel, with the company assuring performers that their safety will be its top priority.

According to Fightful Select, multiple talents, including top stars, contacted Sean Ross Sapp to discuss concerns about being booked for the event amid ongoing security issues. Some wrestlers scheduled to compete have also raised the matter directly with WWE.

The update follows Dave Meltzer’s report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that no WWE talent had refused to travel to Saudi Arabia for the show. While concerns have reportedly been expressed, that does not mean anyone has pulled out.

Crown Jewel has also reportedly been moved to a different venue, although the event is still set to take place in Riyadh.
