Hechicero gained a measure of revenge over Darby Allin at CMLL’s Día de Muertos: Rey del Inframundo event on Friday night, defeating the AEW TNT Champion at Arena Mexico.

The CMLL World Heavyweight Champion secured the pinfall following a guillotine leg drop, handing Allin a loss in his CMLL debut. Although this was Darby’s first appearance for the promotion, he previously wrestled at the venue during AEW Grand Slam Mexico in August.

Allin also paid tribute to PAC during his entrance, carrying a skateboard with “The Bastard” written on it.

For Hechicero, the victory settled a recent score. Allin defeated him on the October 14 edition of AEW Collision in a match that had both the TNT Championship and qualification for Clockwork Carnage at stake.

Their rivalry also featured at Grand Slam Mexico, where Allin teamed with Místico and Chris Jericho to defeat Hechicero, Kazuchika Okada and Kevin Knight in trios action.

Elsewhere on Friday’s card, Mina Shirakawa defeated India Sioux, while Xelhua won a four-way elimination match to capture the CMLL Rey del Inframundo title.

The full results from the event were:

• Los Herederos (Felino Jr., El Cobarde and Hijo de Stuka Jr.) defeated Los Amos del Aire (Magia Blanca, Rey Pegasus and Tornado).

• Persephone defeated Lluvia and Olympia in a three-way match.

• Mina Shirakawa defeated India Sioux.

• Soberano Jr. and Bárbaro Cavernario defeated Volador Jr. and Vegas Depredador, and Zandokan Jr. and Difunto in a three-way tag team match.
