AJ Francis could be staying with TNA Wrestling beyond the end of his current contract, with both sides reportedly keen to continue working together.

According to Fightful Select, Francis’ deal is due to expire at the end of 2026. However, he is interested in remaining with the promotion, and TNA also wants to keep him. A new agreement is reportedly expected to be reached.

Francis has become a regular presence on TNA programming since joining the company in 2024. During that time, he has held the TNA Digital Media Championship and the Canadian International Heavyweight Championship, although both reigns were brief. Both titles are now defunct.

Before arriving in TNA, Francis spent several years with WWE and also competed on the independent scene.

The former football player has spoken positively about his progress in wrestling, saying his career is reaching its peak and that football took a greater physical toll on his body. He also previously described himself as the LeBron James of professional wrestling.

While a new contract has yet to be confirmed, the report points towards Francis continuing his TNA run.
