Benjamin Satterley, known to wrestling fans as PAC, died from bronchial asthma, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office in Illinois.
A spokesperson told the New York Post that investigators had completed their examination and ruled his death natural.
PAC was found unresponsive in his car outside a CAVA restaurant near O’Hare International Airport on September 27. He had competed at AEW All Out in Chicago the previous day and was due to return home. Police reported no signs of foul play or trauma at the scene.
The wrestling community has continued to honour his memory, with tributes from colleagues, friends and fans across AEW and WWE.
AEW dedicated the following episode of Dynamite to PAC, bringing wrestlers together for an emotional evening. Bryan Danielson returned to the ring in the main event, teaming with the Death Riders to defeat the Don Callis Family.
WWE also released a tribute video featuring members of its roster remembering PAC, who performed for the company as Neville.
His wife, Natalie, shared a heartfelt message on social media about the loss of her husband.
“We will try our hardest to get through this nightmare and look after each other as I know that’s what you would want, but we will miss you every minute, of every hour, of every day. Love you eternally pet,” she wrote.
