Britt Baker is heading to Arena México for her first match in CMLL, and her opponents have now been confirmed.

Dr. Britt Baker DMD will join forces with Persephone to face Thunder Rosa and Tessa Blanchard at Friday’s Viernes Espectacular. The tag team bout is part of an all-female card that also includes Olympia facing Skadi in the Universal Amazonas tournament final.

Baker’s arrival follows a tease from Persephone after her match at Arena México last Friday. Addressing fans who have questioned her methods, Persephone promised to bring a special guest for the Month of the Amazonas.

Speaking in Spanish, Persephone said in translated comments:

“A doctor, or better yet, a female doctor, whom you might already know. You’ve complained, you’ve cried, you’ve whined that you don’t like how I win my matches, how I defend my championships. But I’m still champion. And as the great champion I am, I have a surprise for you.

“Next Friday, since it’s the Month of the Amazonas, I’m bringing you a brave, intelligent woman… D.M.D.”

CMLL has now made that surprise official, confirming Baker’s debut alongside Persephone.

Friday’s full card is as follows:

• Olympia vs. Skadi in the Universal Amazonas Championship tournament final

• Dr. Britt Baker and Persephone vs. Thunder Rosa and Tessa Blanchard

• Lluvia and India Sioux vs. AZM and Miyu Amasaki

• Zeuxis and Keyra vs. Momo Watanabe and Emersyn Jayne

• Kira vs. Hera in a Lightning match

• Garra Negra and Johnnie Robbie vs. Dark Silueta and Reyna Isis
