Carmelo Hayes returned to WWE Raw with a statement, revealing himself as the newest member of 946 during a chaotic main event.
Hayes attacked Solo Sikoa with a crowbar as Sikoa was closing in on Royce Keys, swinging the momentum in the faction’s favour. The Usos tried to help their brother, but the rest of 946 overwhelmed them and ended the show standing tall.
The reveal capped a wild six-man tag team match pitting Sikoa and The Usos against Keys and OTM at the Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City, Louisiana.
The action spilled around the arena, with Jey Uso diving from a balcony and Jaida Parker answering with a dive of her own. While The Usos battled OTM, Sikoa sent Keys crashing through the announce table with a Samoan drop.
Sikoa then prepared to finish things off, only for Hayes to appear with the crowbar and bring the match to an abrupt end. The attack left Sikoa and his brothers down as 946 celebrated their newest addition.
Hayes had not competed on WWE television since the August 14 episode of SmackDown, when he lost to Baron Corbin in a United States Championship match. He had also been absent from house shows during that period.
Earlier on Monday, Hayes fuelled speculation about his next move by blacking out his social media profile picture. By the end of Raw, his new allegiance was clear.
