Jamin Olivencia says his efforts to land a WWE opportunity ended with him being escorted out of two events, five years apart.
The former OVW Heavyweight Champion shared his account on LiMPiN AiNT EASY, claiming he believed he had been blackballed after approaching Triple H backstage.
According to Olivencia, the story began with an encouraging conversation with Stephanie McMahon. After hearing about his OVW background, she complimented his speaking ability and asked him to record a promo.
Olivencia said he filmed the promo with Brooklyn Brawler, who was handling those recordings at the time. When he spoke to McMahon the following week, however, she told him she had not received it and suggested approaching Triple H about a meeting.
He recalled speaking to Triple H at Raw and again at SmackDown, where he explained why he felt he could connect with WWE’s audience.
“I think I’d be great for kids. I think I could be marketable,” Olivencia recalled telling Triple H.
Olivencia claimed Triple H appeared agitated during their second conversation and directed him to Canyon Ceman. Shortly afterwards, he said security approached him in catering and told him he was no longer on the approved list.
A security guard allegedly asked whether he had followed Triple H into a bathroom to request a job. Olivencia denied that version of events.
“I did not do that. Saw him in the hallway. I was walking with him and I told him the situation,” Olivencia explained.
He said being escorted out in front of others left him embarrassed and confused. He also claimed the bathroom allegation circulated within WWE, leading him to believe the encounter had damaged his chances with the company.
Five years later, Olivencia said Ceman called and invited him to Raw. Thinking the earlier issue had been resolved, he drove through a snowstorm from Louisville to Cleveland for another opportunity.
According to Olivencia, his return initially went well. People welcomed him, and there was talk of potentially arranging a match.
That changed when a referee allegedly told him he was not supposed to be there. Olivencia said he was informed that Mark Carrano had indicated he should not attend and that WWE would not pay him for the trip.
“So long story short, I got kicked out again,” Olivencia said.
He claimed the same security guard escorted him out on both occasions, maintaining that he had only returned because WWE personnel had invited him. His account does not establish that Triple H personally ordered him to be barred.
Olivencia began wrestling in 2003 and became a familiar name in OVW, winning its Heavyweight Championship three times and Television Championship eight times. His career also included appearances for Ring of Honor, Global Force Wrestling and WWE.
He retired in August 2025 after facing Kal Herro for the OVW Heavyweight Championship. Away from the ring, he has worked as an actor and stunt performer, including a role in The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity at Actors Theatre of Louisville.
