Former WWE, WCW and ECW wrestler 2 Cold Scorpio has reportedly been sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to assault and armed criminal action charges.
According to reports cited by WhatCulture, including Fightful, the wrestler, whose real name is Charles Scaggs, could be released on probation after completing a 120-day programme.
The charges stem from a June 2024 incident at a travel shop where Scaggs was working as a security guard. An altercation with another man ended with Scaggs stabbing him. Scaggs initially claimed he had acted in self-defence but later pleaded guilty.
The reported sentencing arrangement gives Scaggs an opportunity to complete “an intensive, highly structured, boot-camp-style program designed to deliver a shock to the offender”.
Successful completion could allow him to serve the remainder of his sentence under supervision. If he fails to complete the programme, he faces serving the six-year prison term.
Scaggs began his wrestling career in 1985 and built a reputation for his high-flying style. He rose to prominence in WCW during the early 1990s before competing in ECW and joining the WWF as Flash Funk.
He later returned to the 2 Cold Scorpio name before leaving the company in 1999. Another brief spell with WWE followed in 2006 and 2007.
The 60-year-old continued competing on the independent circuit as recently as August 2025, with the supplied report identifying a GCW appearance among his last recorded matches.
