Sting has shared a heartfelt tribute to PAC, remembering the AEW star’s remarkable talent and offering his support to his family following his death at the age of 40.

The wrestling legend joined colleagues and fans in paying their respects to PAC, whose real name was Ben Satterley. In a short message on X, Sting spoke about both his ability in the ring and the affection he inspired behind the scenes.

“Extremely talented. Nothing he couldn’t do. Loved and respected by all of us. God bless Pac’s family.”

Those few words reflected the admiration PAC earned throughout his career. While fans knew him for his fierce presence and uncompromising wrestling style, the tributes from his fellow performers have highlighted how deeply he was valued by those who worked alongside him.

Matt Cardona was among those to honour PAC, describing him as “the perfect pro wrestler.”

Sting and PAC’s paths crossed during their time in AEW, with PAC also involved in a storyline featuring Sting’s protégé, Darby Allin. Their careers overlapped during the final chapter of Sting’s time in the ring.

AEW will now give its wrestling community an opportunity to remember PAC together. Tony Khan has announced that the September 30 episode of Dynamite in Pittsburgh will be presented as “A Tribute to PAC,” with roster participation voluntary.

The show will take place at the Petersen Events Center, where PAC faced Jon Moxley in the main event of AEW’s first Dynamite visit to Pittsburgh.
