WWE remembered Benjamin Satterley, known to fans as Neville and PAC, with a tribute at the start of Monday Night RAW following his death at the age of 40.
The September 28 broadcast from Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, opened with a memorial graphic honouring the former NXT and Cruiserweight Champion.
WWE also posted the graphic on social media, sharing a message of sympathy with those mourning his loss.
“WWE extends its condolences to the family, friends and fans of Benjamin Satterley, known to the WWE Universe as Neville,” WWE stated.
Satterley died on Sunday, September 27, with AEW confirming the news shortly afterwards. No cause of death has been announced.
Just one day earlier, he had competed against Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship at All Out. He also appeared during the main event between Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley.
WWE’s tribute followed a message from Triple H, who remembered Satterley’s contribution to NXT during the brand’s early years.
Joining WWE in 2012, Satterley initially competed as Adrian Neville and became a leading name in NXT. His achievements included winning the NXT Tag Team Championship and capturing the NXT Championship in February 2014.
His name was later shortened to Neville, and his main roster career brought further success in the Cruiserweight division. He held the WWE Cruiserweight Championship twice, becoming known as the “King of the Cruiserweights”.
After leaving WWE in 2018, he returned to competing as PAC and joined AEW in 2019.
From his championship success in NXT to his memorable Cruiserweight run, Satterley left fans with plenty of moments to cherish.
