Thekla is headed to AEW WrestleDream, where she will challenge Mercedes Moné for the AEW Women’s World Championship after defeating Willow Nightingale at All Out: Chicago.

The former AEW Women’s World Champions met in a high-stakes eliminator match on Saturday’s pay-per-view, with the winner earning a championship opportunity against Moné at next month’s WrestleDream.

Thekla controlled much of the contest, repeatedly targeting Nightingale’s recently injured hand. She connected with a Spear at one point, but Willow survived the attack and briefly shifted the momentum with a Lariat.

The match was also disrupted by Julia Hart and Skye Blue. Hart made her way to ringside, creating an opening for Blue to attack Nightingale. However, Blue accidentally struck Thekla instead.

Nightingale attempted to rally in the closing moments and went for her signature Powerbomb, but her injured hand prevented her from completing the maneuver. Thekla immediately took advantage, delivering a Curb Stomp to Willow’s injured hand and head to secure the victory.

The win also allowed Thekla to exact revenge on Nightingale following her defeat at Redemption 2026.

Following the match, Mercedes Moné appeared on the entrance ramp, setting the stage for a confrontation between the AEW Women’s World Champion and her next challenger.

Thekla will now challenge Moné for the AEW Women’s World Championship at WrestleDream, which is scheduled for October 17 at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida.
