Zelina Vega has opened up about the final stages of her WWE career, admitting she felt “miserable” before leaving the company.

Now known as Xelina, the former WWE star discussed her change in mood during an appearance on the ZELVX and CHARLIE GIRL podcast. The conversation came after co-host Charlie, formerly known as Dakota Kai, commented on how happy she looked.

Xelina said others had noticed the same thing, prompting her to reflect on how she had been feeling towards the end of her WWE run.

“A lot of people said that I look really happy, and I’m like, ‘Did I just look f*cking miserable before?’ To be honest, I could see that because I was like, towards the end [of working for WWE], I very much was miserable.”

She also spoke about dealing with negative comments online, making it clear that she is prepared to respond directly to people who insult her on her own profile.

“If you guys come to my profile and you put something negative on there, you better be looking like you were kissed by the hand of f*cking God. You better look like you were God’s favorite because I will dress you all the way down, like, completely. I will talk about your nose. I will talk about your forehead. I will talk about your bottom lip. I will talk about every little piece of you.”

While Xelina acknowledged how difficult that closing chapter in WWE had been, the conversation also highlighted the happier impression she is making now.
