Former WWE wrestler Saurav Gurjar, known to fans as Sanga, has reportedly been arrested at Mumbai Airport following allegations of sexual exploitation.

According to reports cited by F4WOnline, Gachibowli Police brought Gurjar to Hyderabad, where he was placed in judicial custody for 14 days. The investigation remains ongoing.

The case was registered on August 15 under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which concerns sexual intercourse by deceptive means.

In her complaint, a woman alleged that she first connected with Gurjar on Instagram in 2021 and that they began a relationship while he travelled between India and the United States. She claimed he later disclosed that he was married but continued to promise a future together.

“During the course of our relationship, the accused disclosed that he was already married. He repeatedly promised to give me wife-like rights and eventually settle down with me,” the woman stated in the complaint.

She further alleged that Gurjar would block her on social media and stop communicating when she raised the subject of marriage. According to the complaint, he also encouraged her to leave her job in the United States so they could pursue a business together in India.

“He used to block me on the phone/social media and disappear without any prior information. I suffered mental harassment, emotional distress and financial loss, including losing my job after I left my employment in the US to stay with him”.

The woman claimed they lived together between October 2025 and March 2026, before communication eventually ended.

Police reportedly issued a Look Out Circular after registering the case. Immigration officials subsequently identified Gurjar at Mumbai Airport when he arrived from the Middle East, and reports state that he appeared before a magistrate on September 17.

The allegations remain under investigation. The supplied report does not include a response from Gurjar.

Gurjar was signed to WWE from 2018 until 2024, spending much of his time in NXT. As Sanga, he was part of Indus Sher alongside Veer Mahaan and Jinder Mahal.
