Pagano made his return at AAA Triplemania 34, but his arrival spelled trouble for Psycho Clown as he helped El Carnicero win their Mexican Street Fight.
After weeks of hostility, Psycho Clown and El Carnicero settled their differences in a brutal encounter that pushed both men to their limits.
The turning point came when Psycho Clown became trapped in the ropes. El Carnicero retrieved a metal toolbox from underneath the ring and prepared to strike, only for Pagano’s entrance music to interrupt him.
The returning Psycho Circus member confronted El Carnicero, briefly appearing ready to intervene. Instead, Pagano stepped aside and allowed him to hit Psycho Clown with the toolbox, leading to the decisive pinfall.
Pagano then went a step further after the bell, handing El Carnicero a kendo stick so he could continue attacking Psycho Clown.
The betrayal adds another twist to the attacks that have plagued Psycho Circus for months. El Carnicero was eventually revealed as the attacker, although Psycho Clown had initially suspected Pagano.
Pagano denied those accusations and later suffered an attack himself, seemingly putting those suspicions to rest. His actions at Triplemania have now given Psycho Clown a fresh reason to question his former ally.
