Bayley returned to WWE RAW on September 7 and immediately cost Lyra Valkyria a place in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
The former Women’s Champion interrupted Valkyria’s Triple Threat qualifier against Sol Ruca and Maxxine Dupri, making her first appearance on television in months.
With Valkyria attempting to secure a pinfall, Bayley pulled referee Jessika Carr away from the cover. Ruca seized the opportunity, hitting Valkyria with the Sol Snatcher and pinning her to book her place at Money in the Bank.
Bayley then stepped into the ring and continued targeting her former rival. She delivered falling elbows and a Knee Trembler before following Valkyria to ringside.
The attack continued with an Attitude Adjustment on the floor. Bayley then cleared the announce table, but Valkyria escaped through the crowd before she could do any more damage.
The return followed the attack that had taken Bayley off television. After defeating her at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Madison Square Garden, Valkyria delivered a Nightwing on the steel steps.
During Bayley’s absence, reports suggested her WWE contract was due to expire at the end of 2026, prompting questions about her future. Reports last week indicated she would be staying with the company and that creative plans were in place for her on RAW.
Her comeback has now reignited her rivalry with Valkyria, while Ruca leaves RAW with a place in one of WWE’s biggest ladder matches.
